I've based Gemma Watts Fine Jewelry (GWFJ, for short) in Vancouver, British Columbia. I pride myself on offering services to clients both locally, and worldwide.

While my home base is small, my passions take me around the world! I believe that being up-to-date on the latest techniques, trends, and ethical standards, is one of the greatest assets I offer to ALL of my valued clients. 

GWFJ is a refection of my passions and values. I focus on creating beautiful, high-quality pieces that will stand the test of time.

My education has always been heavily based around classical fine arts. I'm grateful this is a passion my parents fiercely supported. They are no longer here with me, but this loss really validates the beliefs I have that jewelry can be more than just an accessory.

I've completed years of formal training covering many mediums of fine art, including metal smithing. My work in other mediums has been featured in public gallery’s, won awards, and received regional financial scholarships. I utilize my education in design and colour theory to create beautiful Jewelry pieces for you. 

The key themes I embody in my own designs are balance in physical composition and colour, quality, and timeless style.

My post secondary education started with undergraduate studies at the University of British Colombia, although my end-goal was always to enter the Fine Jewelry industry with a business of my own. Partway through my BA I realized UBC was not the most efficient way to achieve my dreams, so I changed my focus, and enrolled in the Graduate Gemologist program at the Gemological Institute of America via distance education.

After years of studies, with lots of work on the backend. I was ready to share Gemma Watts Fine Jewelry with the world.

My dreams of creating an educational, comfortable experience for Custom Fine Jewelry are being surpassed each and every day thanks to my incredible clients.
